The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus features state-of-the-art audio, video and broadcast studios, and has an illustrious history as a hit maker, with chart topping singles from The Black Eyed Peas and many others recorded on board.
The interior is divided into three separate studio environments featuring switchable glass doors that change from clear to opaque for privacy and sound reduction. The front studio is a cutting-edge audio and video production room. The middle studio offers pro-level recording and mixing at the highest possible resolution, and the third room features an iso booth for acoustic recordings, a Reflecmedia chromatte (green screen) booth, as well as sleeping quarters for the on board crew.
Powered by Apple computers and iOS devices, the studios utilize Avid Pro Tools, Genelec active monitors, Gibson and Epiphone guitars, SSL Mic Pres and Mixers, Audio-Technica microphones, Roland keyboards and V-Drums, Neutrik connectors, the latest Sony HD professional cameras, and Manfrotto’s Sky Track system for suspending Litepanel LED lights, cameras, and speakers. Together with the new upper level “Peace Deck” created for interviews, live music, DJs, and bands, Lennon Bus Europe offers almost limitless options for the production of original content including livesteaming utilizing the NewTek Tricaster, ClearCom communication systems, and connectivity provided by Todocast by Globecomm. Peavey P.A. systems enable performances on the side of the Bus.
